Dear 50+ Club member

Following yesterday’s (16th March) advice from Public Health England advising against all non-essential contact and travel, your Committee have decided to suspend, with immediate effect, all 50+ Club sessions at the Woking Leisure Centre for the foreseeable future - at least until Government restrictions are suitably eased. This means that there will be no 50+ Club briefing meetings and activities such as the Warm Up, Country Dancing and Water Workouts are suspended until further notice.

The Leisure Centre management have informed us that for the time being they will keep open the 50+ Club bookings such as the Short Tennis courts and Badminton Courts, but any members wishing to use the facilities do so of their own choosing and at their own risk. 50+ Club member entry fees to the Leisure Centre will remain as they are.

50+ Club outings that have been previously arranged are currently being reviewed by the organisers, and further announcements will be made shortly.

We realise that members will be disappointed, but in the current situation there is no other choice.

Thank you for your co-operation and support, and we hope that you will all keep well in these difficult times.

Alan Gibbs
Chairman
