Walk - Whitmoor and Rickford Commons - 16th November 2016

A walk on Whitmoor and Rickford Commons led by Ian and Terry Wilson. The walk started in the public car park beside the Jolly Farmer pub on Whitmoor Common. It was a predominantly wooded walk on generally sandy terrain through some of the best siver birch forests in Surrey. There was one stretch of boardwalk over marshy ground. The weather was generally sunny and warm, considering it was November.
