A walk led by Alan Sandell. We started at the Saddler's Arms Pub Car Park in Send Marsh and went through a housing estate and across farmland to the giraffes. We continued down to the Church, across a bridge over the River Wey and a rather wet field to the Wey Navigation before stopping for coffee at Trigg's Lock. We then went alongside the fishing lakes to the centre of Send before crossing the fields back to Send Marsh and the Saddler's Arms. It was a gloriously sunny day and we saw quite a few farm animals such as cows, sheep, horses and goats. The walk was primarily on grassy and/or muddy footpaths but there were a few stretches of walking along mainly quiet roads, usually with pavements. It also crossed a busy road twice.
There are more pictures of the walk on the Around Send Walk page on the Sandell's web site.
