A walk organised by David Taylor but led by Maggie Randall. We started from the car park of the 18th century New Inn in Send, crossed the canal and River Wey and then headed along a footpath past horse stables near Triggs Lock. At the end of Robin Hood Lane we passed through woodland and a 'great crested newt' improved habitat site. We then passed a new housing estate and went along footpaths, over a bridge and fields to a coffee stop at Gresham Mill. Then we briefly went along and across the A247 in Old Woking before going across the fields towards Papercourt Lock and back along the Wey canal to The New Inn.
There are more pictures of the walk on the Send, Westfield and Old Woking Walk page on the Sandell's web site.
