Evening Walk - New Haw to Weybridge - 30th August 2017

An evening walk led by Alan Sandell. At the end of a rainy afternoon we started at the White Hart Pub Car Park in New Haw. Thankfully it didn't rain on the walk which started along a gravel track. It then crossed the Weybridge to Addlestone and Chertsey railway line via an unmanned pedestrian level crossing and then went along a quiet tarmac lane following the River Wey to the outskirts of Weybridge at Town Lock before returning along the Wey Navigation towpath past Coxes Lock Mill to The White Hart. There were many stretches where we were adjacent to open water. Considering its location, the walk was very rural.
