Woking Leisure Centre 50+ Club

A walk on 16th February, led by Alan Sandell. We started ouside the Red Lion pub on Shamley Green. It was an undulating walk through varied countryside in the Surrey Hills, across farmland with some good views, through wooded areas, across the River Wey twice, along an old railway track and close to an old canal. There was only a small amount of wet muddy walking despite the recent heavy rain. The day itself started sunny before clouding over, but it did not rain during the walk. Some of us had lunch in the Red Lion after the walk.
