Walk - St. Martha's, Chantries & Pewley Down - 19th April 2023

Various photographs taken on the Woking 50 Plus Walk on the 19th April led by Maggie Randall and Ann O’Neil. We started at St Martha’s Church Car Park in Halfpenny Lane. The walk took us up St. Martha’s Hill to the church of St Martha’s-on-Hill on the Pilgrims Way from which it is said on a clear day you can see eight counties, but it was rather misty. We then descended and went through farmland to the Chantries. There followed a climb up onto Pewley Down for more views before taking a gentle scenic walk back down to the carpark.
