A walk on 19th June 2019 led by Ian & Terry Wilson. We met in the National Trust Car Park at the Lodge Tea Rooms at Runnymede. We walked across the meadow to 'The Jurors', a sculpture consisting of 12 brass chairs each representing key moments in the struggle for freedom and equality. We then walked via the Kennedy Memorial and on up through the woods on Coopers Hill to the Air Forces Memorial before looping round back down to the 'Writ in Water', an architectural artwork which celebrates the enduring legacy of the Magna Carta. Continuing we visited the Magna Carta Memorial on our way back to the car park.
There are more pictures of the walk on the Runnymede Memorials Walk page on the Sandell's web site.
